Welcome to ImmexCity

ImmexCity aims to grow the North East immersive technology sector by developing skills, boosting technology adoption,  local employment and cultural experiences.

Our team of friendly experts are here to help regional organisations, entrepreneurs and individuals interested in learning more about and adopting immersive technologies.

The programme is run by Digital Catapult North East & Tees Valley based out PROTO and funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

This project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local businesses, and people and skills. Skills Development

We host regular masterclasses and workshops to help you to learn more about immersive technology. This will include:
- Technology demonstrations
- Showcase real-life examples
- Access to personalised expert advice
