What is the aim?

Our Digital Careers programme challenges pre-conceived ideas, raises aspirations and encourages pupils to think about their future through meaningful experiences with employers. It also raises industry awareness and encourages pupils to consider a broader and more ambitious range of future education and career options. With just a small amount of industry engagement, students feel more confident, informed and inspired about their future.

What does it involve?

The programme provides a range of employer engagement opportunities for young people including workplace site visits, industry workshops, career expos, guest talks, competitions, and more.

Funders and partners

This programme is funded by Sunderland City Council and South Tyneside Council, and supported by Dogger Bank, Sunderland College, Sunderland University, Together for Children and Sunderland Software City.
